TAMA Artstar Custom 1980s, Piano Black.

A little gem in very good condition, straight from the late 1980s. Tama Artstar Custom made in Japan, Piano Black lacquered finish. 18"x16", 8"x8", 10"x10", 13"x12" and the 13"x3.5" snare drum. All maple shells, 9 ply, 7 mm. thick.

The bass drum was originally a floor tom, it was expertly transformed using original components, as for the 13" rack tom, modified into a floor tom.

The general conditions are really good, there are no defects or structural damage, just a very light pitting on the lugs. The snare drum has original Tama die cast hoops and a pair of lugs were replaced with other Tama tube lugs. The holes of the previous brackets are visible in the lower part of the bass drum.

A truly beautiful drum kit, extremely compact and very solid, with an excellent, wonderful sound.
