Product Description

Used drum set in great condition; sizes: 22"x16", 10"x9", 12"x11", 13"x12", 16"x16"; Red wrap.

Rocker series appeared in Ludwig catalog in 1985, replacing the Standard line; the Japan invasion was very strong, so Ludwig was forced to give a cheap option to all the drummers who desired a set with this glorious name...

Anyway, these drums were built in the U.S.A. with professional features and care: the shells were made with "selected American wood veneers", 4 plies with a Maple inner ply. Perfect bearing edges, "Rocker" lugs (just the same we could see on the Standard series between 1968 and the early Seventies) triple flanged hoops, heavy and tough enough... One lug on the 10" tom was broken and replaced with a Pearl one.

The sonic features of these drums are suitable even in professional musical situation, with a convenient set of heads (the toms have Ambassador Coated on top, the bass drum has an Emperor Coated)

The snare has a wood shell, covered with a Mirror Chrome wrap; loud, sensible and versatile. Included with the set we have the double tom holder, the single tom holder for the third tom, a sturdy snare stand and, obviously, the 3 floor tom legs.

Nowadays Ludwig presents cheap drums made in China, but in the Eighties they made worth drums that we can still appreciate...
